Community Policies

Respect and Tolerance: Our community welcomes users from all backgrounds and cultures. We expect all members to treat each other with respect and tolerance. Discrimination, hate speech, or any form of intolerance will not be tolerated.

Threat of Violence: Any threats of violence, whether directed at an individual or group, are strictly prohibited. This includes both direct and implied threats.

Search for a Romantic Relationship: Our community is not a dating platform, and members are not allowed to use the community to search for romantic relationships.

Privacy and Safety: We take privacy and safety seriously. Members are encouraged to keep their personal information private and to report any suspicious or inappropriate behavior to the community moderators. We do not tolerate any form of cyberbullying, harassment, or stalking.

Hate Speech and Offensive Language: Any hate speech or offensive language directed at an individual or group is strictly prohibited.

Personal Information of Others: Members are prohibited from sharing the personal information of others without their consent.

Defamation: Members are prohibited from making false statements about others that could damage their reputation. Defamation includes both written and spoken statements.

Advertising and Spam: Our community is not a platform for advertising or spamming. Members are encouraged to refrain from promoting their products or services in the community. Any spamming or unsolicited messaging will not be tolerated.

Self-Harm: Members are not allowed to promote or encourage self-harm or suicide. Any discussion of self-harm or suicide must be handled with care and sensitivity.

Sexually Obscene Content: Any sexually obscene content, including but not limited to pornography or explicit sexual language, is strictly prohibited.

Accuracy and Authenticity: We expect all members to provide accurate and authentic information about themselves and their language abilities. Misrepresenting one's language proficiency, credentials, or identity will not be tolerated.

Language Learning: Our community is focused on language learning. We encourage members to share their knowledge and learn from others. Members are encouraged to ask questions and seek help from others, as well as offer assistance and feedback in a friendly and constructive manner.

Pirated Content: Members are prohibited from sharing or promoting pirated content, including but not limited to software, music, movies, and books.

Intellectual Property: We respect intellectual property rights. Members are encouraged to use their own original content or properly cite sources. Any infringement of copyright or trademark will not be tolerated.

Moderation: Our community is moderated by a team of moderators who enforce these policies. Members who violate any of these policies may face consequences such as warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the community.

Impersonation: Members are prohibited from impersonating others, including but not limited to other members or celebrities.

Political or Religious Discussions: Political or religious discussions are allowed only in the context of language learning and must be handled with respect and sensitivity.

Session Surveys: Our community values mutual support and collaboration. As such users are expected to fill out all session-affiliated surveys. Failure to provide feedback to peers may result in the loss of tokens earned during a session or in gaining a community strike. Accumulation of three strikes will result in the removal of persons from the platform or other such action taken.

Time Appreciation: Our community values and respects time given by members on this platform. We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise that may cause you to be late; however, failure to cancel a session within the allotted twelve-hour window may result in a community strike. Accumulation of three strikes will result in the removal of persons from the platform or other such action taken.
